  • More beautiful things

This is really about science in general. Popular culture loves theories about multiverses and what not, but they are not science. There is some math that shows the possibility in a nutshell, but even that is a stretch.

What the above video shows is what I have been trying to explain for a while, but they do it a million times better since they are the real deal. I have a lot of respect for Dr. Kaku, but the argument he and some other scientists can fall into is the ‘beautiful things’ trap, where we try to mold our data to an ideal in our head. Another universe(s) sound awesome, but sounding awesome does not mean it is true.

What this debate is really about is why people draw specific conclusions from data that do not really merit them. What I feel Dr. Penrose and Dr. Hossenfelder are saying is basically this: why was the first conclusion from the string theory math that there must be more universes? It is an Occam’s Razor argument like they mention in the debate. String theory and other theories might have some merit in the future to explain something, but saying the math means ‘it must mean more dimensions’ is, to me, the same thing as saying something that is unidentified in the sky must be a UFO. We can see a blurry thing up in the sky, ok, but why is the first reaction ‘aliens’? There are trillions of other possible explanations, but we like to go with the one for some reason that has never had real proof (as in alien just coming down and proving itself by saying hello).

Just because something seems ‘beautiful’ in our minds does not mean it is true. We all fall into the trap all the time, myself included, but the way to avoid it is by following that gut reaction or anxious feeling in your head when you start to hear those kinds of arguments, even from yourself. When you start to hear the ‘well, back in the day, scientists were questioned too, but thousands of years later, they were proven right!’ argument, that is when you know you are in trouble. If you are confident in your data or theory, then the evidence should speak for itself and not require a history lesson to justify it. Whenever I heard that argument I know someone is bullshitting me.

  • Beautiful things

String theory in physics claims that particles are really strings that vibrate in particular ways that give themselves unique properties (like how much a particle might weigh in terms of mass). It was a popular theory back in the day, but since it is hard to actually prove and isn’t always reliable, it has not gained mainstream scientific appeal. It’s one of the scientific theories that point to multiverses and so on.

One thing proponents of the theory do like though is how beautiful the math works out. Scientific theories are based on mathematics showing a new possibility, whether in physics or evolutionary biology or what not. If the math leads you to a conclusion, and if the math is neat and ties other theories into it neatly as well, then it’s beautiful to see from a perspective of something being elegant, but it still has to be proven. For example, Einstein proved that gravity affects light in 1919. His math said the light around an eclipse of the sun should bend in particular ways, and he was right after the experiment occurred. He made the prediction years before that though on just math alone. It is called the Eddington experiment if you want to read up on it and is what made Einstein famous around the world.

In any case, the scientific process is about coming up with an idea, figuring out the math that shows your idea might be right, get evidence, set up your theory, and then set up an experiment to see if the results of the experiment match what you predicted. That’s what science is, attempting to accurately predict something based off of data over and over. If the results start to change in the future though, or maybe a theory does not work in one specific experiment, then that means the original theory and data need to be looked at again. The theory no longer works, even if it looked and seemed beautiful. The math might be amazing, but if we cannot test it at all or use it to make accurate predictions about the world and universe, then it’s just beautiful math to look at and that’s it and nothing more.

Aristotle thought the planets where perfect with perfectly round orbits that satisfied his idea of a beautiful universe. But it turned out that planets are not perfect spheres and neither are their orbits, they are oblong/elliptical. His personal expectations of scientific beautify did not match the data being collected, but my question is, why did he think it was a beautiful idea to begin with? What made him value symmetry as ‘perfect’?

To me, the answer is the same reason string theorists stick with string theory, regardless of impractical it is at making predictions. Do you want some help in coming up with the answer? Sure. Just ask the a string theorist to draw a face on a paper, or any person who has a beautiful/elegant theory on anything that they cannot prove. Regardless of their artistic experience, you will get your answer.

    Good morning!

Morning! Alice is enjoying her new crib. It was her birthday present from last week after she hit the big 4 years.

I have been working on an art project for a while and am going to launch it today. My side hobby is art, I have been drawing since I was around six or seven years old. Stay tuned!

  • Aliens

We live in 2026 with giant satellite networks around the planet and phones with high quality cameras on them everywhere. Aliens are very sneaky, though, and know how to evade all forms of modern camera and video technology. The only way you can capture aliens or alien spacecraft on footage is through old methods that produce blurry or highly grainy images of them, like with those old Kodak disposable cameras. Modern cameras and equipment cannot capture aliens or their vehicles, this is well known. Alien skin, for example, cannot be caught on your iPhone’s cameras because their skin is able to alter the light that is returned to the iPhone, which is why you never see any photos or videos of aliens in high quality or maybe coming down to take a selfie with you. They are too sneaky. Older technology like disposable cameras work though because we never told aliens about them.

I also do not think aliens would ever visit us personally. There is no need to visit the most inefficient species in all of reality. If an alien had the technology for interstellar travel to reach us, why would they visit a planet where its supposed most advanced species requires an absurd amount of power and resources in order to live and reproduce itself. If they came for anything, it would be for efficient species that do the same things but for almost nothing resource-wise, like this one: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tardigrade

Aliens would not come for humans in my opinion as they have no interest in us. We are a species where a few hundred of us need an entire planet’s resources to survive (billionaires), so there is no sense of efficiency or novelty to gleam from us. They would visit to learn about our water bears though.

  • How to spot bad white people

I am brown Indian guy that has lived around a lot of bad white people. I was born in America and the town I currently live in has a lot of bad people. I have some great white friends, but they are few and far between here. The town I live in for example is a place where most bad white folks proudest achievement is finding a veterinarian to give them horse tranqs to cure COVID. I am not kidding.

I can speak only from a brown person’s perspective.

Here are some tips for spotting bad white people in order to avoid them so you can remain being an actual human being:

    1. They will talk about their income levels, love of inefficient vehicles, genitalia, and a religion whose book they have never read more than anything else
    2. They will talk about themselves 90% of the time and will never ask anything about you or your culture, and in this case, 99% of the time they will be a dude, and they will most likely try to explain your own culture to you as well
    3. If you try talk to them about issues you’ve faced regarding your race or how people have talked about hanging you, you will get the following stock response: “Oh, that’s too bad. Anyways, about my truck…”
    4. They have no sense of self and how privileged their lives as spoiled princes and princesses they have been and will 100% blame everyone else but themselves for their lot in life
    5. They will do their best to take advantage of you as a brown person since as bad white people, they are incompetent in anything else but threatening and using others, sitting around doing jack shit, and lying to anyone they meet since they are fake, and love abusing others (they will punch down always) do to insecurity
    6. Their form of religion is based on filling their bank accounts as high as possible while they tell you how much they love Jesus, hate science, and even more, hate medicine as they continue to have the worse health outcomes on the planet
    7. They will fill their ranks with the most incompetent white folks over competent brown folks since they cannot stand being told what to do by anyone smarter than them, which is 99.9% of all life on the planet including amoebas
    8. They will complain non-stop about everything and want to run everything while being unable at the same time to read beyond a preschool reading level, love corruption, and have a preference for sexual partners that are as close to underage as possible (and them too, of course)
    9. They cannot stand helping others unless they get something in return, especially if you do not go to the same crooked church they go to, you know, the one with that history of sexual abuse against kids for decades. Yeah, that kind
    10. They are biggest recipients of welfare and affirmative action and do not understand that because of their bigotry and stupidity, while also being carried throughout life by others while they live as spoiled brats, but will get mad when one brown person joins their ranks to fix things and then will call it DEI

How do you spot a good white person then? Their kids. Watch their relationship with their kids, and that will tell you all you need to know. Do they have actual conversations? That’s a good sign. If their kids can read well at a young age, that’s an even better sign. Do they ask about you? Well, you might have found a rare one then. The also don’t vote for rapists and pedophiles. If they don’t have kids then ask them if they support local schools or not and that will tell you all you need to know.

We also use this term “fake” for the bad white people. You know they are hiding their true selves the moment you meet them since they are soulless underneath their guise and you get that anxiety feeling hard core, like you are meeting an alien in human skin. The town I live in is not only full of the fakest white people in California, but it’s all the biggest collection of imbeciles and fake Christians in the state as well. This is a town where doctors are fleeing and local leaders are begging them to stay since the town’s collective IQ in regards to medicine is around a -20.

One more tip for spotting a bad white person: the only brown or black people they will remotely associate with are the ones that ok with things like rape, corruption, and pedophilia. They will no show interest in helping others, women’s rights, helping animals, or anything other than their bank accounts before their eventual descent into Hell. In other words, you can super easily spot a bad white person if they are with the bad brown folks. How do you spot bad brown folks? They will more than likely openly talk about sex, money, income, affairs, what not, just like a bad white person out loud over anything else. Brown cultures aren’t raised like that usually, especially if you are Indian. We are generally reserved on those things since we know emphasis on them will always lead to ruin.

It’s time to stop associating with and trying to help out bad white folks, they are a lost cause and your mental health and well being are way more important than them. They can go learn to help themselves for once in their lives. Instead, support the good white folks, the one’s that don’t just want to be your friend for a photo op, but the ones who actually want to build you and humanity and others up, like this awesome one:

  • Tokens

I am in Indian guy born in America. Brown folks in America are used to seeing tokens, where bad white people find the one brown person that will join their side or be visible in a position that makes it look like their side isn’t racist, like putting them in positions of power or on TV.

I have information for the bad white folks that try to do that, especially in small towns where bad white guys are known for putting horse tranqs in their body to cure COVID. When we see tokens with bad white people, we just instantly know that that’s the one brown person that’s ok with pedophilia, rape, and other bad things, and they found company with the bad white folks.

There are a lot of good white folks and I am friends with them. You know a bad white person when their first words to you are about their genitalia and how much they can bump up their paychecks while being lazy. You can tell a good white person because they will be a normal human being that asks about you for reasons that are not monetary or sex related. You can also tell they are good because they do not vote for pedophiles either.
